Whether exit reports of Ronaldo are rumors or not, remains to be seen.

Diogo Leite hails Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo has often been labeled arrogant and selfish by his critics. However, when it comes to his close ones or most of his teammates, they always praise the Portuguese for his nature. One of his national teammates, Diogo Leite, has tried to debunk the negative image of the Al Nassr forward.

Leite plays for Bundesliga side Union Berlin and was named to the Portuguese squad by Roberto Martinez recently.

While speaking to the German publication Bild, Leite said“I don’t understand why people have a negative image of Ronaldo. He’s a nice guy, who doesn’t look like a star. I was very happy to be able to train and play with him. He is very open and friendly, he tries to help all the players. He told me he would always listen for me, as for everyone else.”

Moreover, the Union Berlin defender was also asked about the best soccer player of all time. “Cristiano Ronaldo without a doubt. I saw him play and grew up with him. It was also a big problem for me. When I was in the Seleção, I played with him and against him in training,”

The 24-year-old is highly impressed with Ronaldo. The praise comes after another but former teammate of Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, snubbed him for the place in the current Manchester City starting lineup.
