The 20-year-old, USMNT star currently plays in Spain for Valencia CF. Over the last few months, Musah has been in and around the USMNT side quite a bit. The young midfielder also had a decent World Cup campaign. TransferMarkt currently values Yunus Musah at $26 million.

However, the USMNT star has a $106 million release clause in his contract. Musah is also under contract till 2026 with the Spanish soccer side. But it seems very unlikely that Liverpool will simply pay Valencia the release clause. The English side will definitely try and negotiate the transfer amount to a reasonable price.
This season, Musah has played 13 games and scored two assists for Valencia. A surprising fact is that Musah also played soccer in England. The young USMNT star was part of Arsenal’s youth academy, before moving on a permanent deal to Valencia in 2019. Funnily enough, Arsenal and Chelsea are also linked to the USMNT star but his eyes seem to be set on Liverpool.
