Fans celebrate February 1st as National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and it was fitting of her to show respect.

Therefore, it became a touching moment for the female soccer players in Wrexham to have their marking moment.

Ryan Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively shares her appreciation for Wrexham AFC women

Blake recently took to Instagram to share how she loves her husband’s enthusiasm for the game. With the men’s team performing well, Lively took to her Instagram profile to show the women’s team is as much as crucial to them. She said, “If you’re not following along with the incredible talent and force that is @wrexhamafcwomen, you’re missing out.”

She shared ‘Betty Buzz’s’ post on Instagram about how they celebrated the day. One may know Betty Buzz as the shirt sleeve sponsor for the women’s team of Wrexham. Their Instagram handle stated, “It’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day. We love an excuse to celebrate these fantastic women making things happen across the pond @wrexhamafcwomen.”

Not only is Ryan Reynolds attending all the games, but Blake Lively loves her husband’s determination to succeed with the English soccer club. They want Wrexham to be in the Premier League in the next ten years and probably could achieve their dreams with their commitment. 

The history of Wrexham AFC women

Unlike the old men’s soccer club, Wrexham AFC women are relatively new, being re-founded back in 2018. RR McReynolds Company LLC owns the club. With manager Steve Dale at the helm, they have all the tools to become a successful team out in England. The importance of women’s sports can help young girls to achieve their dreams. Similarly to Wrexham AFC, the women’s team won their fair share of trophies.

They won the NWWFL Division Two League Cup in 2019. Talented player Ava Suckley is one of their outstanding players, and she leads the way for the club. Thus, the whole town of Wrexham remains a happy place to visit in recent times. And the Racecourse Ground adds to the unimaginable positive vibes around the town.
