Bernardo made the statement putting light on the media’s obsession with the ongoing controversy. His main concern is that the media is putting more emphasis on the controversy rather than on FIFA WC 2020. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo Just appeared in an interview with Pierce Morgan, putting out shocking revelations about Manchester United.
The interview that started it all
While opening up in the interview, Cristiano Ronaldo said, “I apologized, but in the same way, I am not regretting the decision not to come on. The coach didn’t have respect for me”. Ronaldo is having one of his worst seasons yet. For some reason, Ronaldo refused to come off the bench against Tottenham, starting this breakout.

Bernardo Silva stated, “It’s a shame to be talking only about this Cristiano situation when we have a World Cup to play.” which left the community divided into two pieces. Few are on Bernardo’s side and stating the logic behind the statement. However, fans also point out that the statement had nothing to do with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The FIFA World cup is all set to be the biggest event of the year, and many are waiting to see their favorite team play.
