Yesterday, Wrexham AFC lost their opening fixture of the EFL League Two against MK Dons. It was quite an enthralling game, as both sides played an eight-goal thriller. But instead of looking at the result, Ryan Reynolds has a bone to pick with Hugh Jackman.

It wasn’t the start the Welsh club was looking for, but the away side managed to thrash them by such a huge margin. Likewise, fans were also surprised to see the new fourth-division side get battered by such a margin. However, coming back, the owner, Reynolds, recently called out his actor friend, Hugh Jackman.

Just like other ardent fans, both Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney came to support their beloved club. In the process, another Hollywood star, Hugh Jackman, also came to see the third-oldest soccer club in action. He did come, but he also made a fool of the Deadpool star.

Apparently, Jackman came to the stadium with a special designation, which doesn’t even exist. Hear from Reynolds himself, who tweeted his post-match thoughts. He wrote, “Epic opening day at @wrexham_afc. The @MKDonsFC played like heroes. Big thanks to @RealHughJackman for stepping in as “Admiral Vice Football Operations Ombudsman” but I just found out you made that f**king title up.”

The Canadian actor hilariously called out Jackman, who addressed himself as the “Admiral Vice Football Operations Ombudsman.” Quite likely, Reynolds did get to know that the position doesn’t even exist. Indeed, it’s quite a hilarious anecdote that both actors shared.

Moreover, it must have brought a smile to all the faces of Wrexham fans, who unfortunately witnessed their beloved team get thrashed on the opening day.

A 5-0 loss during the start of the pre-season U.S. Tour against Chelsea, and now another 5-3 loss against MK Dons at the start of the fourth division. Only this time they managed to score three. Indeed, the beginning of the new campaign hasn’t been great for the Welsh side. The first goal of the match came as an unlucky own goal from Wrexham’s Eoghan O’Connell.

MK Dons eventually managed to take control of the game as they put five past Phil Parkinson’s defense. On the other hand, goals from Jacob Mendy, Jordan Davies, and Anthony Forde tried to put Wrexham’s case forward, but it didn’t help much. Be that as it may, it was not the start Reynolds’ side was looking for.
