The soccer icon is a part of the Expressão Livre company and they have offered to buy Cofina Media, owner of Correio da Manhã, Sábado magazine, and CM television. It would be monumental for the player to purchase the media house in an iconic move. During a time when most players have tensions with the media houses, Ronaldo once again shows his accurate business intelligence. 

If the proposed purchase goes ahead, the Media Capital Group, owner of the TVI and CNN Portugal channels, will make Ronaldo the company’s shareholder. The Mail of ManhãIt is one of the bestselling newspapers in Portugal, having circulated 41,810 circulation copies in the first quarter of 2023. While most celebrities get exposed through tabloids, Ronaldo looks to purchase them in a landmark deal.
