Lionel Messi is no less than a godly figure in his beloved nation. Argentinian fans are ready to take a bullet when it comes to defending him. However, in a surprising turn of events, a compatriot of La Pulga, previously accused of harboring ‘Anti-Messi’ sentiments, displayed unabashed enthusiasm for Messi’s arch-rival Cristiano Ronaldo with a special birthday cake. Yamila Rodriguez might ring a few bells for many soccer fans. During the 2023 FIFA World Cup, a picture surfaced on the internet showcasing her tattoo of CR7 on her left shin.

Once again, the Argentina Women’s NT’s superstar is in the spotlight for uniquely celebrating her 26th birthday. The SE Palmeiras forward posted pictures, where she was holding a cake that had a graphic of CR7 in his Portugal jersey with a big smile. That’s not all!

She also expressed her happiness over the cake by writing a caption saying, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEE. Thank you God for one more year of life. Thank you so much family for the surprise I loved my cake.” This is certainly quite bold of Yamila Rodriguez to vocally express her fandom for Cristiano Ronaldo, which will certainly bring discontent to ardent Messi fans. Notably, back when CR7 won his first trophy with Al Nassr, the skipper posted about her excitement, with Rodriguez commenting “Te amo” or “I love you.”
