On January 29th, the stadium was host to Lilie FC in a Ligue 1 clash. However, what was supposed to be a family-friendly event took a turn for the worse when fans reported hearing sounds of moaning and other X-rated activities coming from the bathrooms. While this incident may be humorous to some, it’s a definite black eye for the team and the stadium.
The soccer club filled a complaint
This is the first time anything like this has happened in the over 100-year history of the club, and it’s something that the team would undoubtedly like to forget. According to the French outlet RMC, the club has filed a complaint to the police against these X-rated movies being shot in their stadium.
Nice Eco Stadium, the company that operates the 36,178-seater stadium has also filed a complaint. They are unhappy about their stadium’s image being tied to these p**nographic videos. It’s still not reported who is behind these films. But one thing is for sure: shooting X-rated films in a public place like a stadium is definitely illegal.
Nice’s owner looking to buy Manchester United
After owning Manchester United for 18 years, the Glazer family’s announcement that they were selling the team was definitely unexpected. With Friday’s deadline approaching and The Glazer Family seeking a bid of a staggering $7.2 billion, Jim Ratcliffe, owner of the French club Nice, appears to be one of the main candidates to bid on the club.

He has made it clear in public that he wants to buy the club and has the money to bid on the prize the Glazer family wants. Nevertheless, Elon Musk, the proprietor of Twitter, and a number of Middle Eastern consortiums have shown an interest. Elon Musk has expressed interest in buying the club for $5.4 billion, which is less than the Glazer family wants.
