The Welsh club’s dynamic attacking approach resulted in some players displaying top-level performances. Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson’s strategic acumen and decisions have surpassed the expectations of many. However, it seems that there is so much stress about the teams’ journey on the club’s co-owner, Rob McElhenney’s personal life. In the documentary, ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, McElhenney was seen explaining how he is constantly having eye styes due to stress. He said, “You might not notice it but at some point throughout the day, you are going to see a stye under my eye, here on the right.

Reynolds, being his humorous self, claimed that the eye stye was small and mild. However, the 46-year-old was not ready to accept it as something silly. He went on to explain the story behind his current eye stye. He added, “It hurts and this is the third one. I had a double stye. And this one went away. This one went away. And then this one came back.

The ‘Deadpool’ star was still not ready to consider McElhenney’s eye stye as something severe. He replied, “Is that from all the ocular sex you have? Promiscuous ocular sex?” It was then, the podcaster revealed the major reason behind the same. He states, “No, it’s the stress. I spoke to a doctor. A few doctors and they said, ‘Are you under any stress?’ I said, ‘a little bit.'” Now that sums up what’s happening to McElhenney as the co-owner of Wrexham. It seems that the stress of bringing their club to a better position is taking a toll on his overall well-being. Recently, the other owner of the club, Ryan Reynolds, revealed the effort it takes to bring talented players to the team.
