Last month, NHL decided to put team Ottawa Senators on sale, seven months after its previous owner’s death. Last month Forbes valued the club at 525 Million USD and we expect the selling price to be much higher than that. There are several entities interested in acquiring the club. However, NHL wants Ryan Reynolds to be included in the bids for a reason that no one expected.
Bidders must have Ryan Reynolds on the ownership team
According to reports, Gary Bettman has made it clear that any entity looking to bid for senators should have Ryan as a minority partner. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ryan has a total net worth of 150 million USD. He can’t bid for the team alone but can join as a minority partner.

Ryan’s association with soccer
This will not be the first time Ryan will have ownership of a club. He also has ownership of the Wrexham Association FC.
