Wrexham Owner Ryan Reynolds Hires $125K Dollar Jet to Meet Blake Lively After Stunning 3–2 Victory Over Notts County

Wrexham AFC played one of its crucial season-defining games against Notts County recently. They won the game by 3-2 in one of the most entertaining games of the season. Wrexham sits top of the table with 103 points, with seven points from the next four games sufficient to win the title. It will take them automatically to EFL League Two.

Wrexham AFC’s passionate owners, Ryan Reynolds, and Rob McElhenney traveled from the US to witness the high-voltage drama at the Racecourse Stadium. The last-gasp penalty save from the new signing, Ben Foster gave them all three points. Meanwhile, Reynolds took a private jet to travel back to New York to reunite with his wife, Blake Lively.

After the scintillating game, Reynolds went to England to take a $125k private jet to return home. He went to Manchester Airport to take the plane after the game. The Deadpool star united with Lively after nine hours of the game. Reynolds was snapped outside the airport on New York streets on reaching home.

Before leaving for New York, Reynolds gave an interview to BT Sport, demanding more automatic promotion spots to the Vanarama National League. He feels both Wrexham and Notts County deserve to be in League Two. Reynolds ran out of words while sharing his feelings about the sensational win. 

We can see Reynolds visiting the Red Dragons often from now onwards. As per reports, the Deadpool star has bought a $1.8 million home in a village near Wales town. He already owns a house in New York worth $5.3 million. Reynolds is also in a bid process to buy the NHL franchise Ottawa Senators.

Reynolds and McElhenney have been heavily invested in the club and the community. They took over the club in February 2021. They could see the club getting back to the Football League in their second complete season as owners. Wrexham last played in the Football League in the 2007-08 season.

What does Wrexham need to do to win the title?

Wrexham is on 103 points after 42 games. Their nearest title rival, Notts Couty, is on 100 points after 43 games. If County wins all their remaining games, they will reach 109 points. It means the Red Dragons will need seven points from their remaining four games.
