The fans in the US are eagerly waiting for the team to arrive for the preseason. However, a recent social media post about the ticket prices for the open training session of Wrexham caused a stir among fans. The fans took to social media to voice out their dissatisfaction with overpricing.

Wrexham fans unhappy at ticket prices

Wrexham will visit the US in July for the preseason ahead of the new season. They will play a host of friendlies on the tour. The main attraction of the US tour are the games against Chelsea and Manchester United. The Red Dragons will play Chelsea on July 19 at Kenan Memorial Stadium, North Carolina. One of the Twitter handles related to Wrexham posted open training session ticket prices. 

It will cost $85 for the fans to watch the Wrexham team train. It caused a stir amongst the fans, who showed their displeasure over social media. One fan wrote“I wouldn’t pay $85 to watch the 1992 Dream Team practice.” Other fans soon followed suit. One of those fans reminded everyone about the free entry to training sessions in Portugal. 

Fans are unhappy with the high-ticket prices. One fan labeled it as a joke, while the other said that it was more than what he paid for the San Diego ticket. A few fans said, why one should pay such high fees to watch the open training session. One dissatisfied fan reminded the charge of a $20 parking pass in addition to the $85 ticket.

The Red Dragons will know their fixtures soon

A new League Two season will start in the first week of August. Wrexham fans are anticipating a great season ahead, and the club will strive to do their best to get another enormous result at the end of the season. The fixtures for the 2023-24 seasons in English soccer will release on June 22. Ryan Reynolds’ club will know their opponents on matchday one soon.

The club will look to upgrade the squad ahead of the season. The owners have already started working on the new signings. Wrexham recently released a list of players the club will retain recently.
