Wrexham has done the impossible. After 15 years, they have finally clinched promotion to the fourth division, following their win against Boreham Wood last night. Since the owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the club in 2021, they have led it to glory. The Welsh side nearly missed promotion last season, but they have finally achieved significant success.

Following the win, Reynolds also opened up about last night’s experience. The Deadpool star had some ecstatic words after the match. “I’m not sure I can process what happened tonight. I’m still a little speechless. One thing that’s running through my head over and over again is people saying, ‘Why Wrexham? why Wrexham?’ This is exactly why Wrexham. Happening right now is why.”
