Over the past few weeks, reports from Brazil revealed a bidding war between Cristiano Ronaldo and an Arab Sheikh for an ultra-luxurious apartment in Balneário Camboriú. The bidding competition caught widespread attention thanks to the whopping price tag of $10 million.

Finally, after weeks of back and forth, the construction company of the skyscraper finally broke the deadlock. The company finally revealed the winner of the bid which surprisingly was bagged by neither Cr7 nor the Sheikh.

Cr7 loses the bidding war to a mysterious millionaire investor

FG Empreendimentos is the largest construction company in Brazil. Their latest ultra-luxurious project is a skyscraper located in the scenic locale of Balneário Camboriú. Considering the combination of factors, it’s only natural that celebrities and millionaires like CR7 were interested in investing in the project.

Unfortunately for CR7, his wish to invest in the property was met with competition from an Arab Sheikh. Hence, the duo entered into a massive bidding war for the $10 million valued project. However, as per reports from today, a mysterious millionaire investor conducted a confidential auction with the construction company for the apartment on the top floor of the apartment. While FG Empreendimentos hasn’t revealed the price at which the project was sold, one can certainly predict that it’s north of $10 million.

All said and done, none can overlook the humor in the entire deal. It’s truly funny how Cr7 and the Sheikh went at it for weeks only for a third person to swoop in and bag the deal. Nonetheless, props to everyone involved in the bidding for their attempt because the project seems worth the pain.

What makes the building so attractive to Cristiano Ronaldo?

For starters, the apartment is on the topmost floor of the building. This apartment stands as the most spacious one in the southern region of the country and ranks among the top five largest residences in Brazil. Additionally, its position is oriented towards Pontal Norte, offering a sea view.

The building has 32 floors. While it is not among the tallest skyscrapers in the city, it’s definitely one of the most luxurious, catering to the needs of the elites. The project includes apartments with four to six suites, ranging from 201 to 502 square meters, and provisions for five parking spots.
