World’s Richest Actress Reese Witherspoon Expresses Intentions to Enter Ryan Reynolds’ Territory as She Discloses Love for $2.05 Billion Team

Similarly, influential American celebrities enjoy the rapid rise of soccer, and famous actress Reese Witherspoon wants to invest in Arsenal. Currently owned by Stan Kroenke’s Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, Arsenal sits comfortably at the top of the English Premier League. 

Witherspoon wants to invest in the club “if there’s space in Arsenal.” Significantly, she is the world’s richest actress, having a net worth of $400 million. Disclosing her intentions on ‘The One Show,’ she opened up about being a fan at the club.

Witherspoon said, “I think all my sons, everybody would be really, really excited because that’s our favorite team. We watched the game the other day, it was bananas.” The recent game probably would be the sensational victory against Manchester United. Winning the game 3-2, Arsenal is on their way to an unprecedented title win. 

She continued, “That’s our team. I’m probably going to really like wreck myself here too because I’m sure there’s a few people out there who are not Arsenal fans but I just have to be honest.” In the end, she showed her interest in Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint Germain, expressing her love for the French club.

He first bought holdings of Arsenal, around 9.9% of the shares earlier, in 2007. Slowly and steadily, Kroenke rose to the top and ultimately purchased the remaining stakes from Uzbekistan billionaire Alisher Usmanov for $678 million. Since then, he became the sole shareholder of Arsenal. 

The team values itself at $2.05 billion and generates a revenue of $435 million. Even though finding space in the club would be a tall order, Reese Witherspoon loves Arsenal. Her love for the club showcases its die-hard fan base. Hopefully, she can make her dreams come true.
