With Shakira Consistently Firing Shots, Lionel Messi Allegedly Called Gerard Pique ‘Traitor’; for Plotting His Controversial Departure in 2021

In the past few months, Gerard Pique and Shakira have constantly been in the limelight. The Colombian singer still continues to diss Pique and his family. While the drama in the soccer veteran’s personal life seems to have no end, a recent report regarding his professional life has raised quite a few eyebrows. It turns out Pique was majorly involved while the FC Barcelona board was taking a call on the future of Lionel Messi at the club.

The Argentine soccer legend left a one-word message behind on the blackboard in the club’s dressing room before leaving.

Pique is already subject to loads of criticism from fans after his infidelity scandal with Shakira. These new reports surrounding Messi have just added fuel to the fire.

What message did Lionel Messi leave behind for Pique?

After winning the Copa America in 2021 with Argentina, Messi publicly expressed his interest to stay at FC Barcelona. Everyone was aware of the Financial Fair Play allegations that the club has been facing in the last few years. However, the majority of the fanbase never imagined that the club would respectfully ask Messi to leave the club.

Weeks ago, Pipi Estrada revealed that Pique played a major part in Messi’s dismissal from the club. Whilst in conversation on the program Salvame, he says, “On one occasion, when Messi has to leave Barcelona because of financial problems, that story is influenced by Gerard Pique”, as per Marca.

He also then claims that the Argentine soccer legend left behind a message for Shakira’s ex-partner.

Pipi Estrada claimed, “Messi goes down to the dressing room to collect his things from the locker and there is a blackboard there. And before he leaves, Messi writes the word ‘Judas’ in capital letters. Pique asked Jordi Alba who had written that. ‘Leo’. And who is it for? ‘For you.’”

In recent times, Shakira has settled down in America. She is currently living with both her children and brother at her Miami Beach house. Just before the Waka–Waka singer flew from Spain, Pique came raining down with criticism for Shakira and her fans. He mockingly called her a ‘Latin American’ and he called her fans “thousands of barbarities”.

The Colombian star landed in America and immediately responded to the soccer veteran. She wrote on Twitter, “Proud to be Latin American,” in Spanish. She also added the flags of countries in Latin America in the same tweet. Her iconic and subtle response went viral on social media amidst reaching a personal milestone.
