Marcelo Salazar, the sporting director of Al Nassr, opened his talks by speaking about ‘Ithra’, which translates to ‘Enrichment’ in English. Salazar then shares why he thinks Cristiano Ronaldo has improved and enhanced the qualities of the club after his arrival.

In a podcast, Salazar when asked how is it working with a player the size of Ronaldo, he said, “It’s about “Ithra.” He has added a lot to us with his high professionalism and his passion. He applies professionalism from A to Z. He has become a reference for us in order to grow and develop more.”

Salazar then further added, “Not only for the players, but even we as administrators benefit from him and his passion and work. He has developed The club and the league, I take my hat off to him out of respect and appreciation for what he offers, and I cannot express the words that truly fulfill him.”

Cristiano Ronaldo signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Al Nassr in 2022. The deal will see him get paid an estimated $500 million over time. However, when looking at the profits the club has generated with the signing of Ronaldo, it seems like a profitable investment.
