Since leaving Europe, David Beckham made a tremendous difference in the soccer picture on the North American continent. He arrived in LA Galaxy and skyrocketed the MLS to become the top league in the world. And now, former Manchester United star owns Inter Miami, on a mission to build it as one of the best teams globally.

Apart from promoting the MLS, he also encourages fans to watch the Mexican league, the Liga MX. Although it is one of the most famous leagues in the world, it lacks coverage worldwide compared to the European competitions. Up steps Beckham to wish his favorite team luck ahead of their crucial final.

He follows Tigres rather than the top four teams of Mexico, including Club América, Chivas, Cruz Azul, and Pumas. Hence, he tweeted a video in support of the team by holding their jersey.

It became a sense of motivation for the team. But the first leg of the 2023 Liga MX championship series ended in a stalemate draw in front of a packed audience. The quality of the game was not up to the mark either, with both sides failing to hit shots on target and playing nervously from the start.
