Mac Allister has started in all the games for Argentina in these qualifiers, but he found this game to be the most joyful. The midfielder is best known for scoring the second goal against Poland, which was a decisive game for Argentina to get into the knockout stage. However, the Liverpool player has not been on the scoring sheet in these qualifiers yet.

Brazil’s historic disappointment against Argentina
The game started half an hour after the scheduled time, with the entire crowd behind the yellow jerseys. Brazil dominated the highly physical first half, with two shots from Martinelli saved by Emi Martinez. However, Nicolas Otamendi’s header to the left post gave Argentina the win.
