It’s just a matter of time before we see Alex Morgan curtain her illustrious career. The USWNT icon, who earlier announced her wish to retire from the beautiful game, will be marking her final appearance on the pitch during the NWSL clash seeing San Diego Waves facing North Carolina Courage. While a sold-out crowd is expected to turn up at the Snapdragon Stadium, a question looms if Morgan’s bestie Taylor Swift will be there to see her final game.

It was just hours ago the 12x Grammy winner was spotted at a different sporting event. Swift was in the stands of New York’s Arthur Ashe Stadium alongside NFL star Travis Kelce to watch the US Open final tennis Grand Slam seeing Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz locking horns against each other. Now, the possibility exists for the Reputation album singer to attend her best friend’s crucial match at the 35,000-seater Snapdragon Stadium.

Even though the average flight distance between Queens, New York City, and San Diego is around 4.5 to 5.5 hours, there remains a chance for Taylor Swift to watch Alex Morgan in action for one last time. However, it’s unlikely she would reach on time just before the kick-off. At least, Swift might attend the half-time. But then again, most likely if the American pop star wanted to attend, she would reach the end of the match.

There remains no problem for Swift to make it to California. Currently enjoying free time with her boyfriend Kelce, her schedule is more than clear. Just one indication to the pilot is needed to fly her private Dassault Falcon 7X to see the US international in action. Not to mention the bond she has with Morgan. Both are no less than besties and often take time to have a tête-à-tête with each other.

If Swift does make it to the Snapdragon Stadium, it will surely be no less than a tribute to her friend, who is gearing up for a new chapter of her life. Also, it will be a joy for the fans to see such an A-lister in the stadium. However, we aren’t sure how Morgan’s husband would feel like meeting Taylor, considering he doesn’t like his songs!

Alex Morgan, a huge fan of Taylor Swift, once shared that her husband, Servando Carrasco, grew tired of constantly hearing Swift’s songs. Whenever they go for a drive, Morgan takes control of the music and plays Swift’s hits, much to Carrasco’s frustration, as she mentioned in an earlier interview.

Morgan said, “And he’s like ‘Haven’t you listened to her enough?! And I’m like ‘NO! There’s no such thing!’ So there’s that.” She added, “We can continue talking about Taylor this whole time. I’m totally fine with that.”

Interestingly, after the USWNT’s 2015 World Cup victory, Swift invited the entire team on stage during one of her concerts. The team joined her for a fun celebration, with Swift even participating in the World Cup trophy festivities. The whole team got on stage and had a great time with Swift. Moreover, the singer also took part in the World Cup trophy celebrations during the concert. Since then, both have shared a good friendship.

Oh, and by the way, Morgan’s favorite Swift album is ‘Reputation,’ which she feels is like a ‘curveball.’ Regardless, for now, it remains to be seen if Taylor Swift actually fulfills the friendship and makes it to the Snapdragon Stadium.
