Will Messi and Suarez's magic be the game-changer Inter Miami needs against Toronto FC?

Club soccer is back and is expected to get even more intense. After a pretty gloomy Copa America for fans in the USA, all eyes will turn to the MLS where Inter Miami is still in the race to win both the Supporters’ Shield and the MLS Cup. Surprisingly, they managed to avoid a major slip down the table despite the absence of other star players, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. With just a point behind leaders Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference, they could take back the number one spot in the next game against Toronto FC. Hence, the fans cannot wait any longer for Messi and Suarez to be back, with the team slightly getting weary.

However, bitter news struck them today as Messi suffered another injury during the final. While Suarez also stayed with the national team camp until yesterday, supporters are concerned if the duo will be available for the next game against Toronto FC.

The game against Toronto will take place on 17th July, which Lionel Messi will not play. La Albiceleste played the final against Colombia and reports already suggested earlier that Lionel Messi would miss the game against Toronto FC. But, there are no reports about any issues with Luis Suarez that could hinder his return against Toronto FC, except that he played the 3rd placed game on Saturday. He is also anticipated to start on the 20th. But more importantly, Messi’s availability for subsequent matches will keep the supporters curious.

Leo already faced a scare in this tournament again with his hamstring against Chile, which kept him away against Ecuador apart from the regular hamstring injuries that were tormenting him.

On a positive note for the fans, the 8-time Ballon d’Or winner was seen using his legs to celebrate Lautaro Martinez’s goal. And with this season being Inter Miami’s best chance to win their maiden league title, the team will not try to add unnecessary burden and make things worse.
