“Will Learn From This” – Alex Morgan Apologized for ‘Impaired’ Behavior After Being Kicked Out From Disney World Park Back in 2017

Alex Morgan is one of the most popular players in the soccer universe. Over the years, the USWNT star has amassed millions of fans from all around the world. Her fans mainly respect her for her impeccable contributions to women’s soccer. She has been a pioneer of the sport since Day 1. However, every athlete has their ups and downs. The fans too strongly believe that one should not be judged on the basis of just one incident.

Back in 2017, Alex Morgan was part of an embarrassing situation at Disney World.

Alex Morgan had to embarrassingly leave Disney World Park!

At that time, Morgan was just settling in at Orlando Pride, her new soccer club. The club’s players and their families were enjoying their time at Disney Word Park. However, things suddenly took a turn that Sunday in Florida. The local police and the managers accused the USWNT star and a few others of being extremely verbally aggressive with the other hotel guests.

Due to the unacceptable behavior, the cops accused the USWNT star of trespassing and asked her to leave. On the same day, a deputy told CNN, “I observed a white female, who was later identified as Alexandria Morgan yelling, screaming and taken (sic) video and possibly pictures. She appeared to be highly impaired”. They also ignored repeated warnings. Alex Morgan was among the few names including Giles Barnes who were asked to leave the premises.

However, no charges were filed. Orlando Pride also confirmed later that this was not registered as a criminal incident. The embarrassed USWNT legend apologized on Twitter for her actions. She wrote, “I want to apologize for my actions that occurred over the weekend. I will learn from this make sure it does not happen again. #liveandlearn”.

This unusual incident still remains in the back of a few fans’ heads. However, Morgan has successfully moved on from the incident. Since 2017, she has also advanced forward in her career and also won many more accolades.

Morgan is ready for the SheBelieves Cup!

Alex Morgan is getting ready for the new and upcoming international soccer season. Just a few days from now, the USWNT will compete in the SheBelieves Cup. However, the end goal of the USWNT this year is to win the FIFA Women’s World Cup in August. About a week ago, Morgan spoke about the positives of this cup competition leading into the World Cup. She said told the media, “It’s always really good competition for us”.

She continued, “Managing the fatigue and travel going to three different cities, playing three good teams for us back-to-back… [that’s] a good test for us”. Morgan is one of the main names on every team sheet for every game. Apart from this, the 33-year-old is also one of the nominations for the FIFA Women’s Player of the Year. She is among three finalists to win the award. Beth Mead and Alexia Putellas are the two other finalists along with Morgan.
