Well, Cristiano Ronaldo‘s night has absolutely turned into a nightmare! If the drama at the end of the first half wasn’t enough, the Al Nassr skipper found himself within the eye of the storm in the dying minutes of the game. The 84th minute of the match saw Cristiano and Renan Lodi contest for a ball on the sidelines. With the contest tilting towards Al Hilal, the Al Nassr skipper tried to pry the ball away from the defender. However, Lodi quickly squared up against the Portuguese, riling him up!
Cristiano did not take too kindly to Lodi’s actions as he allegedly elbowed the Brazilian as he took to the ground. The incident saw a fight break out between the two sides, with Al Hilal players rushing in to push the Al Nassr players away from their fallen teammate. The match official was not impressed with Cristiano Ronaldo as he reached into his pockets to fish out a red card, ejecting the Al Nassr skipper from the game.
