The Blaugrana are also reportedly looking to further renovate their stadium at the end of this season. Hence, their home turf will reportedly shift to Montjuic Olympic Stadium, another renowned stadium in the locality. However, the problem lies with this stadium’s seating capacity. The seating capacity of FC Barcelona’s new temporary home ground will be about 44,000 less than Camp Nou.

Due to this, the Spanish soccer giant will make a loss of about €93 million next season. As per Sport Bible, Mundo Deportivo claims that the Spanish soccer giants will need to reduce about €200 million from their salary bill before next season to meet La Liga’s guidelines. The fans are already frustrated after quite a few of the club’s summer signings haven’t materialized at all through this season.
Due to their financial struggle, the soccer giant might force some of its players to leave the club in the near future.
Barcelona needs to offload players!
The two prime targets that will reportedly face the axe will be Sergio Busquets and Gavi. Busquets has reached the fag end of his career but is still contributing a major role in the starting XI. However, Laporta might ask him to move so they could free up money on their wage bill that exceeds the limit. Meanwhile, sources once suggested Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr attempted to get their hands on the Barcelona veteran.

Former Leeds United winger, Raphinha, has been one of the major flops at FC Barcelona this season. The Brazilian soccer star joined the club with a lot of promise and potential. However, he had failed to cement a spot in Xavi’s starting XI. This is mainly due to the unimaginable amount of players that Xavi needs to accommodate in his squad by giving them game time.
