USWNT’s star striker Trinity Rodman seems to love the company of athletes outside the pitch as well. Well, she is one of the three children of the Chicago Bulls legend Dennis Rodman, her brother DJ Rodman is a USC Trojans small forward. Interestingly, she has been dating a fellow athlete as well. Back in May, the Washington Spirit star took to Instagram and introduced her boyfriend and former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Trinity Benson to her followers. “Trinity Squared.”

Be it Vlatko Andanovski or Emma Hayes, USWNT coaches can’t keep Trinity Rodman out of its rosters for major tournaments. The 22-year-old will be an Olympian next week. Benson, who is currently a free agent, has a chance to fly to the ‘City of Love’- Paris to support Rodman and fellow USWNT Olympians. All about Trinity Rodman and Trinity Benson’s relationship

Trinity Rodman and Trinity Benson made their relationship public on May 20 with the aforementioned Instagram post. She shared two pictures where we could see Rodman sitting beside Benson with her arms wrapped around his shoulders. The duo seemed relaxed, as they were getting the sun and holding a drink. Rodman’s close ones were quick to outpour their love on the new couple in town. “Heck yeah finally the cats out the bag,” Trinity Rodman’s half-sister Teyana Lima commented. Fellow USWNT star Sophia Smith wrote, “Hard launch.” 

The 27-year-old Trinity Benson started his stint as wide receiver with the Denver Broncos in 2019. The Lewisville native then joined the Detroit Lions and later returned to the Broncos only to switch to the Lions again. Too much back-and-forth we must say. Benson, however, has not received much game time during his stints with the Broncos and the Lions. He has appeared only in 10 games for the Lions in 2021 and 2022. The rest of the time, he spent with the practice squad of both teams. His recent NFL stint was with the Cleveland Browns practice squad and is currently a free agent.

Who was Trinity previously dating?

Trinity Rodman’s ex-boyfriend too is an athlete! She was previously linked to Loyola Maryland Greyhounds point guard Chris Kuzemka. Rodman introduced Kuzemka to her fans via an Instagram post after her World Cup debut in 2023. She took to Instagram to write a heartfelt message for Kuzemka on his birthday. “The love of my life,” she wrote, referring to the College basketball star.

Like Rodman, Kuzemka also hails from a family of athletes. He, notably, played soccer when he was six and football when he was 11. He started hooping when he was seven and later remained devoted to the game. It is unclear as to why or when the Greyhounds star and the USWNT striker split up. Since Trinity has moved on and found love in her namesake, let’s hope Benson also catches a flight to Paris for the Olympics.
