Mishel Gerzig started her modelling career at the young age of 13 according to the Times of Israel. In the US, she works with NEXT Models Miami. Her modelling career saw a pause at the age of 18. During this period, she completed her mandatory military service with the Israel Defence Force in 2018. She captained rescue ships and commanded 15 soldiers under her. As per Gerzig, this was a very ‘proud’ experience for her. Also, she admits to being a ‘traveler’ and posts photos of herself all across the globe via social media.

Gerzig met Thibaut Courtois via Instagram when the Belgian commented on a post of Gerzig and her dog. Their bond gradually blossomed. She revealed, “He started asking me questions about Israel, about the army. In April I had several jobs in Madrid, and then we met for the first time face-to-face. We met again in early July, that’s when the relationship between us became romantic.”

The couple officially announced their relationship in August 2021. In June 2022, Thibaut Courtois proposed to his girlfriend. The setting was a boat in Italy and Gerzig had uploaded the same via Instagram. It didn’t take long for the couple to tie the knot and in June 2023, the pair married in Château de la Croix des Gardes, France. The happiness is about to multiply as the couple has decided to take the next step in their relationship.

In January 2024, the 26-year-old model took to Instagram to announce the happy news. She wrote, “Our love is growing🤍 We can’t wait to meet you.” Notably, Mishel Gerzig is a Jew while Thibaut Courtois follows the Christian faith. Yet, this won’t be a problem in the child’s upbringing. Regarding the same, Gerzig had said in 2021, “It is too early to talk about having kids together, but if there will be, we will combine our religions together. We will celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas.”

Furthermore, Thibaut Courtois has two children from his previous relationship. And it seems they have taken to Gerzig quite well. The model revealed that the children have ‘accepted‘ her and see her as a friend.
