There’s no denying that Neymar Jr has made ample headlines beyond soccer. While he has been injured since last October, the Brazilian superstar’s off-pitch antics have made him a controversial figure, with the latest one being the birth of his second daughter, Helena. This shocking development came to light after the Al Hilal star himself shared the picture of the newborn on Instagram. While it tells that he has become a father for the third time, the actual question is who exactly is the mother? Spare some time as we would like to introduce Amanda Kimberlly.

Meet the mother of Neymar’s daughter

Amanda Kimberlly is a Brazilian model and social media influencer. While her birth details are unknown, it is reported that she hails from Parana in Brazil and settled in the capital city Sao Paulo. She earned fame by making an appearance in the Brazilian dating show ‘Are You the One?’ back in 2016. Amanda has a decent presence on social media with 800K followers as of July 2024.

Despite such a huge following, the model isn’t as active on the Meta-based platform, having shared just 25 posts, with a few shedding light on her modeling career in remarkable outfits. Interestingly, neither Neymar nor Kimberlly follow each other on social networks. Aside from a modeling career, she is currently working for a charity organization called Project Gaia.

Unfortunately, there are no additional details regarding Kimberlly, including her educational and family background. However, the pregnancy was plagued with controversy as it was alleged that Neymar had cheated on his pregnant girlfriend Bruna Biancardi (since separated) with the model. The Al-Hilal player had also issued a public apology when reports surrounding his infidelity surfaced.

“I do this for both of you and your family. Justify the unjustifiable. No need to. But I need you in our lives I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this and how much you want to be by my side. And I stand beside you. I did wrong with you all. I risk saying I’m wrong every day, on and off the pitch. Only I solve my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my intimacy with my family and friends,” he wrote on Instagram, in June last year. However, the controversy didn’t end there!

After reports concerning Kimberlly’s pregnancy made rounds just three months after the birth of his second child with Biancardi, the 32-year-old soccer star had even demanded a paternity test from the soon-to-be-mother. However, since then, he has accepted the news with ‘joy’ and even announced the birth of his baby girl, Helena, on Instagram recently.

All about Neymar Jr’s third child and daughter Helena

On July 19, Neymar shared four black-and-white pictures on Instagram featuring the little bundle of joy. The post was captioned, “Helena ❤👧 03/07/2024.” The birth took place in a hospital in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and the mother and daughter are both doing fine. Apart from Helena and Mavie, he also has a son, 12-year-old Davi Lucca with Carolina Dantas. The pair reportedly dated around 2010-2011 and, as per Dantas’ Instagram bio, she is a digital creator. Giving birth to Lucca when she was just 17, Dantas reportedly wanted to pursue medicine.

On a separate note, new mother Amanda Kimberlly also shared an Instagram post a few hours before Neymar, with the caption, “My favorite month July.” She also took to her Instagram stories to share some words of gratitude. “Thanks for everything! You were so amazing to both of us, I’ll never forget every word and every gesture of love you showed me at the most special time in my life,” she wrote, thanking her photographer, Hanna Rocha. For her doctor, her message read: “A special thank you to my doctor who went beyond the professional side, welcomed me and gave me a lot of strength during these 9 months”.

Hanna Rocha also shared four pictures, with one unseen closeup of the newborn. Now that little Helena has entered the world, how many days since we can see her cheering for her dad in the stands? We’re surely excited about that sight! Are you?
