Patrice Evra has been found guilty by the Criminal Court of Nanterre of family abandonment spanning from May 2021 to September 2023. According to Le Parisien, the former footballer has been sentenced to 12 months in prison with a two-year probation period.

However, Patrice and his attorney, Jérôme Boursican, have denied these allegations, stating, “Mr. Patrice Evra has filed an appeal, knowing that he provided his wife with an apartment, a house with a swimming pool in the south of France, and lent her nearly two million euros for her daily expenses. She refuses to return this sum, which is the reason for this trial.”
