Nevertheless, although his wife and children are citizens of the USA now, reports suggest that Marija also hails from Belgrade.

Meanwhile, the couple have been married for the past 25 years, according to reports. But they met for the first time when the Serbian coach was nineteen years old. It is claimed that it was love at first sight when he saw her at a coffee shop. The coach reportedly took a confident step of occupying an empty seat on her table, which also had the presence of her two sisters. From the beginning of their relationship, they went on to get married and the rest, as they say, is history.
