Newcastle United vice-captain Kieran Tripper booked his berth in Gareth Southgate’s squad this summer despite a rough campaign with his club. While Kieran might have had an off-season, he has a firm shoulder to rely on with his wife Charlotte Tripper always standing by him in tough situations.

Things got out of hand for Kieran Trippier this season as he got into a heated argument with a Newcastle supporter after the team’s loss to Bournemouth. The defender was unhappy with the fan as he lashed out at him claiming the fans need to understand players are humans too.

Kieran wanted the fans to understand that Newcastle was dealing with injuries with some of their main players out. Charlotte addressed the situation on her social media after she received multiple messages regarding Trippier’s spat with the fan.

Kieran Trippier’s wife claimed her husband had calmed down after the spat and he loves Newcastle fans as much as they love him. Tripper’s wife replied to a message on her Instagram stating, “You fans are amazing! Don’t worry, KT is not panicking about that 1 fan last night.”

As Charlotte diffused the situation, the fan who had a go at Kieran himself apologized later and admitted that he shouldn’t have done what he did. The fan revealed on social media that he had traveled a long distance to watch the game and was annoyed with the result. The altercation with Trippier was a result of his frustration.

Their daughter Esme Rose was born in 2020, while the youngest and third one joined the family in 2022.

Trippier’s eldest son is reportedly interested in following his father’s footsteps as he wants to become a professional player. Jacob has often been spotted alongside his mother cheering for his father during Newcastle’s games.
