Barcelona’s President Joan Laporta earlier divulged ongoing dialogues with clubs namely Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham. He further shared, “All these clubs, most of which are for sale and some have already been sold, are interested.” Taking this into consideration, it is not entirely possible to completely dismiss the potential involvement of these teams in the Super League.
