Kobbie Mainoo‘s siblings couldn’t be prouder. With his ace midfield gameplay, Mainoo helped England earn a spot in the UEFA Euro final against Spain on Saturday. Kobbie Mainoo’s parents Felix Mainoo and Abena Herold both migrated to England from Ghana. They would eventually fall in love and later exchange wedding rings. The duo first gave birth to their daughter, Ama. The exact date of Ama’s birth is unclear. She currently runs a business in Manchester. After Ama, Felix and Abena welcomed their second daughter, Elfia. We only know that she is older than Kobbie Mainoo. Her age remains unclear. She is reportedly pursuing sports business management. It is indeed the best bet for Elfia, as her brother is a sporting superstar and her sister is an entrepreneur.
Yet, Felix Mainoo and Abena Harold ended their marriage, despite parenting three children together. Anyhow, Kobbie Mainoo and his sisters still have a close-knit bond among themselves and with their parents. Their parents live 30 minutes away from each other, giving the children ample opportunity to split time between the two houses. Besides, the two sisters often join their parents to rush to Mainoo’s support when he is hitting a milestone in his career.
Apart from these two sisters, Mainoo’s half-brother Jordan Mainoo-Hames is also older than him. He was born to Felix in a relationship outside his marriage with Abena Herold. Similar to the United star, Jordan too has a soccer story to tell. However, he found success in the modeling industry.

Jordan Mainoo-Hames tried his hands at soccer, having made it to the youth projects of Manchester City and Rochdale. Had Mainoo-Hames secured a permanent stay in City, it would have been some exciting rivalry between the two brothers. Sadly, injuries kept Jordan Mainoo-Hames from going any further and he ventured into modeling instead. Jordan immediately turned his modeling stint into gold. Besides, Jordan appeared in the UK’s hit show ‘Love Island’ in 2019. That stint, however, ended abysmally after a public vote eliminated Kobbie Mainoo’s brother from the show. Thanks to Jordan’s feature in the show, Kobbie Mainoo’s Manchester United pals have given him the nickname ‘Love Island.’
Now, Kobbie Mainoo is a step away from rendering his siblings on cloud nine and etching England’s best redemption story in decades. Will he be able to do it? Tell us in the comments.
