In the latest installment of Snacks, a podcast run by Sam Mewis and Lynn Williams, Rapinoe gathered huge praise from her teammates. While the topic of Rapinoe came up, Kristie said, “Pinoe’s free kicks, and just like her shooting in general, is so threatening just because it’s like her. Like when she’s taking it, I’m just like, oh my god.”

Then shortly, Williams added, “You’re like, where on earth is this going to go.” It seems both WNT stars couldn’t get hold of her teammate’s impressive technique. Sam Mewis was also full of praise for Rapinoe. “She could just do the riskiest thing and it’s just going to go in.”

All three agreed to Rapinoe’s brilliant technique, but Kristie insisted she was also quite scared of her footwork. “Her technique hitting the ball, it’s just so threatening and scary,” said Kristie Mewis. “Just when she’s standing up there and does her little pre-kick ritual, I’m just like, I can’t be here right now. I wanna crawl into a hole. Like this is gonna go in. It’s just so good.”

Although given both sides’ domestic positions, it can be a piece of cake fixture for Reign. Louisville is in 8th place with just three points, while Reign is sitting in second place and have nine points in hand. They will be looking to extend their stay at the top of the league, however, Rapinoe’s side may expect tough competition from the home side.
