The recent game between Real Madrid and Almeria was in the news for all the wrong reasons. There were several incidents in the game where the decision went the way of Los Blancos. This led to them winning 3-2 in the last minute. However, after the game, Barca head coach Xavi said that the game had poor officiating. In response, Real Madrid responded to the Culers by taking the example of the Negreira Case and added the club paid referees for several years. Now, Barca chief Joan Laporta has responded to the comments. He answered, “What Real Madrid TV is doing is a shame, I don’t know how they allow it. He also said that the money was paid to referees for their technical services and not to fix matches and win games. Additionally, the Barca chief stated their willingness to provide evidence of their innocence in the Negreira case. However, he adds that Real Madrid is taking more time to show their proof and extending the case.
