Jude Bellingham already has an iconic celebratory display. The maestro has been making a name for himself this season after consistent performances for both Real Madrid and England. The Three Lions star was once again the saving grace for his team as his lone goal stood as the difference maker between England and Serbia. Gareth Southgate‘s side lacked that edge displayed by title contenders Spain and Germany in the previous games and it will be interesting to see how England take it from here.

With Jude Bellingham’s header finding the back of the net in the 83rd minute of the contest, fans expected the midfielder to pull out his iconic “I’m him” celebration. However, the Englishman and Trent Alexander-Arnold had other plans in mind as the duo introduced a new celebration. Bellingham opened up on the new display following the game as he explained the reason behind the celebration alongside the Liverpool star.

Jude Bellingham stated, “When we play wolf, one of the staff loves that face when he doesn’t have a clue what’s going on. So that was kind of a little group celebration for the wolf.”

For those who are accustomed, “wolf” is a role-playing game played in a group, where one player is assigned the role of a wolf. While their job is to eliminate all the other people, the others need to find out who the wolf is before they are the last man standing — somewhat similar to the Mafia. It seems like the English side loves to play the game in their free time if the players pull out celebrations referencing their time playing the game.

Jude Bellingham praised for his performance against Serbia

The Liverpool player-turned-pundit Jamie Carragher commented on England’s win over Serbia, adding Gareth Southgate needs to get clarity within his tactics. Carragher then praised Jude Bellingham, adding that the Real Madrid player deserves to play in the No. 10 position for England.

The former English star stated, “There has been a lot of talk about Bellingham being deeper to allow Foden to play as the 10. England’s opening goal shows why it has to be Bellingham in that role. After an encouraging start that turned into a satisfactory rather than an excellent win for England. They ran out of steam as the game progressed.”
