The winger’s latest contract extension with the club in 2023 saw him become the highest-paid athlete in the club’s history. Salah reportedly nets $424,000 a week. With all the clauses in his contract, reports suggest the player makes over $22.9 million in a single season. Salah’s current deal with Liverpool runs through the 2024/25 campaign. Salah has an exclusive deal with sportswear giant Adidas, which sees him pocket close to $2.7 million per annum. The Egyptian also has a big money deal in place with beverage brand Pepsi, with the player serving as their brand ambassador in the Middle East and North Africa since 2016. The two brands are the leading names on his resume, with the player also in ties with Oppo, DHL, Vodafone, Uber, and ExxonMobil.

With his massive paycheck and endorsements, reports suggest the player has a close worth of over $90 million. Apart from his work on the field, the player has likewise dipped his toes into the investment sector, having invested close to $12 million in English real estate firm MOS Real Estate and Trinity Kensington. Salah, following his rise to fame, has done his best to give back to his hometown in Egypt. The player, just a year following his move to Liverpool, made massive donations to help build a school for girls while giving away 1 acre of his land to build a sewage plant in his hometown, Nagrig.

In 2018, Salah donated over $2.5 million to help a Children’s Cancer Hospital in Cairo. The Egyptian king then made invaluable contributions to Egyptian citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the Reds star helped provide tons of food to those in need while helping establish a quick-response medical center. The Liverpool ace was awarded the Laureus Sporting Inspiration Award in 2021 for his philanthropic work during the pandemic.
