Fans slam Spanish Police over horrifying assault

It was yet another typical Thursday night in the Europa League as all the clubs kicked off this year’s Round of 16 campaign. All the matches turned out to be pretty amazing. However, a shocking incident took place during the last night’s fixture between Sevilla and Fenerbahce.
During the game, the Spanish police severely injured a few Fenerbahce fans. The away fans traveled to Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to support their team. However, it turned into an altercation as the police were brutally hitting the fan.
The incident has been caught on the clip and soccer fans around the globe are fuming. The netizens have slammed the Spanish authorities for such poor treatment of the away fans. An angry fan says, “Thats a great way to escalate that into a crowd stomping of a handful of cops. What f**king idiots.”
Another fan said, ”Spanish police are scum of the earth.” One fan said, “I really hope that Fenerbahce as a club does something about this, at least a statement. Tf is wrong with that policeman.”
One netizen has slammed the police of Spain, saying, “Spanish police just enjoy beating up foreigners.” While another one said, “Such pieces of shit. Way to go and put a fucking target on Sevilla fans’ back now in the second leg. The fan did absolutely nothing and if anything, it looked like he was telling others to sit back. What the fuck is wrong with fucking cops, man?!”
Clubs light up the Europa League stage
The incident may be upsetting the fans, but the results of the first leg have surely pumped them up. In the end, Sevilla managed to keep a clean sheet after a 2-0 victory at home.
In the other fixture, Manchester United was able to forget a dreadful night at Anfield, after they clinched a 4-1 win against Real Betis. Goals from Rashford, Antony, Bruno, and Weghorst helped them win the first leg in style.

While Juventus managed to win against Freiburg with a single goal from Di Maria, Shakhtar and Feyenoord played to a 1–1 draw. Now all the clubs will be meeting for the second leg next week.
