The Reynolds’ army clinched a victory in a five-goal thriller as they continue pushing for the silverware. However, they were forced to go one step back, as they dropped points yesterday. The Red Dragons traveled to the Hive Stadium in order to clinch back-to-back victories, however, their trip wasn’t successful as they were held at Barnet.

Soccer world slams Wrexham coach
It wasn’t the trip Reynolds’ side was expecting. Aside from the draw, things got more miserable as Callum McFadzean got sent off in the opening minutes of the second half. The player wasn’t the only one to receive the red card, as after the match, coach Phil Parkinson also got booked as he got into an altercation with the opposition’s keeper. Anyone who saw his disgraceful outburst at the referee after losing v grimsby won't be surprised. He's just a nasty man, trying to cover up the fact he's not a good coach

Parkinson may have been trying to defend his team, but that got him into trouble as he got booked. Thus, getting caught up in a “cheat” row with opposition goalkeeper Laurie Walker.
Phil Parkinson involved in cheat row
Parkinson was actually caught up in a cheating row with Walker after the final whistle. The coach challenged Walker, which forced the referee, Ed Duckworth, to take the call. Walker had few words to quote regarding the incident. “[Parkinson] was basically saying I was trying to cheat him,” he said. “But I’m sure you guys could see [McFadzean] came straight through and kicked me straight in the face. And that’s all I’m going to say on it,” he added.
The Wrexham coach was also not happy with the ref’s decision. “I’m not happy with the role that the referee played in the sending off, first of all,” Parkinson said. “I mean that’s a soft red card, it’s his trailing leg, there’s no real intent there and for me, [the referee] has got it wrong. I thought the goalkeeper made a meal out of it in all honesty and obviously, that influences the referee’s decision. I’m frustrated for Callum because I thought he was excellent, it was his first game for a long time and he played really well,” he continued.

Phil Parkinson after Barnet.
“It was gritty and determined. After the sending-off we’ve had to change the shape and I thought we handled them well. I felt a moment might come for us, but it didn’t and we’ll take a point on the day.”

The manager also had few words for both sides. “But the lads have dug deep today. Barnet are a good side and up there in the contention for the playoffs and we’ll take the point. It’s another point on the journey where we need to go to. When you go down to 10 men, a point is good.”

Either way, this gives them a chance to retrospect on yesterday’s performance. For now, they can easily clinch promotion by just winning their next two games. Both fixtures are at home against Yeovil on Tuesday and Boreham Wood next Saturday.
