While Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the kings of the UEFA Champions League, there is one record in which Dortmund striker Sebastian Haller has them both beaten. The 28-year-old striker returned to training after battling Testicular cancer. Borrusia Dortmund signed the striker in July of 2022.

Haller originally caught the soccer world by storm when he blew up the scene in the 2021-22 season, scoring an astounding 34 goals across all competitions for the Netherlands club AFC Ajax. The 28-year-old striker’s impressive 11 goals performance helped Ajax reach the round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League. Dortmund was quick to snatch up the talented player, signing him in July of 2022.
However, right before the start of the new season, Haller was diagnosed with testicular cancer. The soccer star underwent a couple of surgeries and chemotherapy treatments, but thankfully, he was given the green light to return to the Dortmund camp on January 2, 2023.

Haller broke the world record to become the fastest player to reach 10 goals, which he did in 6 matches. The 28-year-old striker also broke Ronaldo’s record of scoring in 6 consecutive matches, by scoring in 7 matches. Haller’s impressive record is a testament to his talent and ability.
