Apple’s reported interest could be huge for United. Fans have been complaining about their owners for around a decade. They will now expect their new owners to inject capital into the club and build a sporting structure for the future.
Ronaldo’s unfortunate break-up with United
It all started during a match against Tottenham, where United’s manager didn’t allow Ronaldo to start. Ronaldo sat on the bench for almost the whole match but when the coach asked him to sub in, Ronaldo just left the field. It sparked discussion in the soccer community and Manchester United took strict action against the player.
The relationship between the English Club and CR7 continued to sour with public and cryptic statements from both ends. It all came to the head when Piers Morgan released an interview with Cristiano Ronaldo. In that interview, Ronaldo said many things related to the club.
“I apologized, but in the same way, I am not regretting the decision to not come on. The coach didn’t have respect for me,” Ronaldo said.

He added, “I do not want to be cocky and say that I am the same as when I was 20. Of course not, but I adapt and I am smart to know my strength, and what I am good at. And I am still playing at a high level. I score goals and I will continue to score goals – if my mind is clear and happy and if the people surrounding me, they are helping me to be a successful player.”
