In the wake of his latest injury setback, Al Hilal conveyed a heartfelt message to Neymar, in an attempt to boost his confidence and morale.

Already, some revered names in soccer like Lionel Messi have extended their support to the Al Hilal star. The Brazilian soccer icon’s  58-year-old father was also quick to pen a motivational message.

Neymar’s injury isn’t good news, especially for his domestic side, Al Hilal. The player was forced to leave the pitch in tears, and now the reports suggest he will be out for over nine months. In such tough times, Al Hilal decided to send a heartwarming message to Neymar. The Riyadh side uploaded a three-minute-long video, where the coaches and players are sending their best wishes to the star player.

Understanding Neymar’s pain, Al Hilal boss Jorge Jesus said, “You’ll be stronger. You’re a great player, a player with a strong mentality. We’re waiting for you. We feel the same pain as you feel. We send you our hugs from the team and your coach who appreciates and loves you so much.” Additionally, other team players also spoke a few words about how Ney’s absence would affect them.

Ex-Wolves star Ruben Neves insisted everyone would miss him and backed him for his strength and belief in coming back stronger. Defender Kalidou Koulibaly expressed his sadness over the bad news. “I hope that we meet soon on the pitch, and see more of your magic,” he said. Furthermore, Malcom also wished a speedy recovery to his icon and fellow countrymen: “Be strong. Allah knows everything we are here to support you to get well soon. I send you my kisses.”

Along this, he also wrote a message, saying, “Mucha Fuerza @neymarjr,” which translates to “great strength @neymarjr.”
