Al Nassr strengthened their team massively with the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo last season. They didn’t stop with the legendary player and have also added Seko Fofana, Alex Telles, and Marcelo Brozovic, thus cementing themselves as the favorites for the season.
Al Nassr opens their Arab Club Champions Cup campaign against fellow Saudi club Al Shabab and Tunisian club Montasir. It is however their third match that is setting to be exciting thanks to pre-match chatter by Zamalek SC’s Mostafa.

Mostafa in a recent interview was quipped about his team’s clash against Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr. In reply, the player gave a surprising reply by commending the team but not Cr7. “Al Nassr is an interesting team but we are not afraid of Cristiano Ronaldo,” said the player boldly.

Last night saw PSG being held to a goalless draw by Al Nassr thanks to a gritty performance by Cristiano & Co. Doubts were being raised against the Saudi club after getting mercilessly thrashed by Benfica and Celta Vigo.
The CR7-led team responded in style with a much better play against PSG. Cristiano Ronaldo, in particular, looked to be in great form, reminding everyone of his Manchester United days, thanks to his sublime link-up play attempts. The former Juventus talisman was a menace for PSG as he created a lot of chances for his team and even stunningly attempted a bicycle kick!

Unfortunately, his team couldn’t finish PSG. Nonetheless, these are very encouraging signs for Al Nassr and its fans. If they continue on this trajectory with Cr7 in this form, winning the league should be easy!
