Speaking of which, the Red Dragons will be hosting the first game of the fourth division against MK Dons this Saturday. Likewise, the club’s executive director gave his predictions for the game.

Wrexham will be hosting the newly demoted MK Dons on August 5. All eyes will be on Ryan Reynolds’ side as they start off with a fresh campaign. Certainly, the last season’s National League winner will be looking to get a win in the opening game. While it’s too early to predict the result of the match, Humphrey Ker spoke with confidence ahead of the game.

The Red Dragon’s executive director recently sat down for an interview on the Rob.Ryan.Red Podcast. Subsequently, the host Nathan predicted the match against MK Dons to end with a 2-1 score in Wrexham’s favor, before asking Ker about his prediction. Interestingly, the director also agreed with the prediction, saying, “I think it’s a great game start with, cause we have lots of cons with recently relegated League One teams.”

“As I say what I’m hoping we’re gonna see is that we are a settled side and that we hit the ground running. It’s nice just to bank up a few points early, and you know will keep working away.” Ker revealed even if they sign any players before the match, he hardly sees them getting along with the team on Saturday.

“So, it’s going to be, given how the team finished last season at a gallop. Let’s see if they keep galloping now.” Indeed, even the Red’s director is glimmering with optimism and confidence ahead of the opening game. But will they be able to win the first game of the fourth division?
