In a wacky incident that happened at the end of March in the USA state of Texas, two emus brazenly joined in on a game of soccer. The events of this wacky incident, which happened at the end of March, reached social media after a video of it was released to the public.

The video starts off with some kids having a kickaround until two emus come in to join the game. The two huge birds wasted no time getting stuck into the action, proudly running around and sometimes having a bash at the ball with their beaks and legs.

The father of one of the children involved, John McIntosh, filmed the goings on their family farm in Texas. John McIntosh shared some information about the incident. According to him, the two emus, named Johnny and June, were raised on his family farm since they were young.

He also mentioned that these two emus are very welcoming and protective of the animals around them. While saying that they are “great companions for the kids”. This strange yet heart-warming incident is one truly to behold. However, this is not the first time animals have got themselves involved in the beautiful game of soccer. Another bizarre incident happened in the month of March when some kangaroos invaded a soccer pitch.

If Emus playing soccer with kids wasn’t bizarre enough, some kangaroos invaded a soccer pitch during a game in Australia. An unexpected event occurred during a soccer match between Canberra Olympic FC and Tuggeranong United at the Australia Cup preliminary in Canberra.

The game had to be briefly halted due to a wacky incident: kangaroos had invaded the pitch. The unexpected guests delayed the game for a short time before eventually leaving. This is just one example of many strange incidents involving animals and soccer.
