Dragon Ball Z’s Gogeta banner was flown during the final between Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Philadelphia Union. It surprised the fans to see the banner during the game behind the LAFC goal. It came as a timely boost for the LAFC players and the club went on to win the final.

They flew a huge Gogeta banner donning an LAFC jersey during the soccer game
Gogeta, a fusion of Goku and Vegeta, is a famous character loved by Dragon Ball fans. The LAFC decided to surprise its fans during the game by flowing a giant Gogeta banner wearing an LAFC jersey. It drew surprising reactions from the fans.

But LAFC fans were not only the ones to react. The rival Philadelphia fans also reacted in surprise. Gogeta has a huge fan-following across soccer fans supporting different clubs. They used the recent appearance of Gogeta from the Dragon Ball Super movie on the banner.
Fans consider Gogeta the most powerful character from the Dragon Ball franchise who made its debut in Dragon Ball Z’s Fusion Reborn. The franchise has around 21 animated films to date. The Gogeta banner came at the right time as it gave a boost to the LAFC team who went on to win the game on penalties to win the MLS Cup 2022.

LAFC took the lead through Kellyn Acosta in the 27th minute. Philadelphia came twice from behind in the game and scored an injury-time goal in the second half of the added time. It looked like Philadelphia won the game, only to be shocked by a very late equalizer by Welsh star Gareth Bale, taking the game to penalties.
The substitute goalkeeper of LAFC was the hero of the match. He saved two penalties in the shootout that saw the LAFC win 3-0. The stadium erupted in joy as the LAFC made history. Many fans thought that the Gogeta banner proved a lucky charm for the team.
