Last night, Al Nassr dodged the bullet against Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League. Otavio’s 70-minute winner helped Luis Castro’s side clinch a 2-1 victory after Cristiano Ronaldo‘s early strike was denied by the Al-Hasa-based club. Although they managed to pull off a clutch victory, a video showcases how CR7 lost his temper at his side’s defense after they failed to hold off the Al Fateh attack.

There have been many instances where the 39-year-old has vocally expressed himself on the pitch in frustration. This time it came during yesterday’s league match. A video shot by a fan from the stands was shared by a netizen, showing the moment when Al Nassr conceded a corner. Ronaldo can be seen jogging towards his team’s defensive line. While making a jump as if he were about to perform his ‘Siuu’ celebration, the skipper instead threw his hands in the air and shouted at his teammates. It didn’t end there.

The No.7 kept gesturing at his side to defend better and maintain their focus. It seems that he wasn’t happy with his team’s defensive display. Given they had already conceded a goal, Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t want to make things worse for the Knights of the Najd. They are already battling for the top spot from arch-rivals Al Hilal, who are leading the league table with 4 points. While his display of anger could be seen as his method of leadership, he must remain careful.
