David Beckham shocked the soccer world when he joined the MLS club LA Galaxy in 2007. He was playing for the Spanish giants Real Madrid then. He took a pay cut to complete the move, which bemused the fans. Meanwhile, Beckham had one special clause wherein he could buy an MLS expansion club for a mere $25 million.

The clause landed him an expansion club in 2018. It was named Inter Miami, which started playing in MLS in the 2020 season. It wasn’t an easy road for the former Manchester United legend. After all the struggles with the stadium and other formalities, Miami was in MLS in 2020. Beckham didn’t hold back and created one of the best training grounds in MLS for Inter Miami FC.

David Beckham built one of the best training facilities for Miami

Inter Miami FC training center boasts a state-of-art facility for all the teams of the club, ranging from academy teams to first team. It costs three times more than that of English Premier League leaders, Arsenal’s training ground. Recently, a video of the training center was posted on social media showing all the facilities available.

The center consists of seven fields. Six of the seven fields are natural grass fields, and one field is made up of synthetic turf. The total area of the training center is around 50,000 square feet. It consists of a state-of-art gym for the players.

Inter Miami training center also boasts one training room and a locker room for the players. The training center, named Florida Blue Training Center, is adjacent to Miami’s DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, which has a capacity of 19,100. Florida Blue has a pool inside. It also consists of hot tubs with a fully staffed kitchen.

It is one of the best developed training centers and shows how MLS clubs are fully invested in the facilities. Last year Inter Miami got permission to build a new stadium. However, the club will maintain the Florida Blue training center.
