Who is going to help if Rome itself is in crisis?  The biggest soccer club in the world Manchester United is facing a battle and it doesn’t have any external enemies. The club in the past few years hasn’t managed to win a major trophy. In the background of the current scenario of the owners’ aim to sell the club, an old clip of Cristiano Ronaldo came back to attention, leaving the fans in concord with his words.

On the other hand, the club’s debts are also contributing to the unrest leading to fans calling for the owners Glazer family to quit. The situation worsened especially since last year when the feud between Cristiano Ronaldo and coach Eric ten Hag began. The Portuguese captain was repeatedly benched by ten Hag after a few dry performances which did not go well with him and his fans.

The Glazers initially announced the willingness to sell the club last November but earlier yesterday, the owners pulled the club out of the market after 9 months of bid search. This news has once again triggered fan’s fury as many expressed their disappointment.

One video on Twitter(X) that caught traction was a clip of Ronaldo’s old interview about Manchester United’s internal environment. And the fans were all in favor of what he said back then. Here are a few top reactions.

He wasn’t wrong after all,” a fan commented. And many are clearly on the same page.

This fan thinks the interview was the single best thing that happened to United after Sir Alex Ferguson era! Do you agree?

In the interview, Cristiano Ronaldo revealed that the Glazers did not care about the club except for the business. The fans are praising Ronaldo for his honesty and concern for the club. He also went on to say that it would be difficult for Manchester United to become a good team in the next 2-3 years.

Originally, the interview got mixed reactions leading to the division of at least some portion of fans. The Glazers supposedly have pulled out till 2025 citing that they are not finding the expected £10 billion bid.

Glazers seem to have not been affected by the movement even a bit. Their silence towards the fans is getting down their spine. The indecisiveness on whether to sell or keep the club is almost evident to the fans. The United fans feel that the Glazers are responsible for the woes of the club and some of them even called for a boycott of the club.

With the current situation, it is quite ambiguous whether the Glazers would leave the club or not. The biggest sporting fan base on the planet is calling for their demand to be met. If the pressure would be enough for the club to get out of the situation is what needs to be seen.
