In an interview, with FIFA Pro, he selected Lionel Messi and Brazilian legend Ronaldo ahead of his club teammate Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The selection of the Argentinian forward over Salah is making the most noise. It looks like Messi’s performance in the semi-final against his national team Netherlands chose him ultimately. In the interview, he also hesitated to pick himself in the team. However, he ended up picking himself nonetheless. In the goalkeeping position, it was not a surprise as he selected his teammate Alisson Becker.
