Just hours ago, Lionel Messi, the Argentine superstar, and his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, received some threatening news. According to reports from Rosario, Antonela’s supermarket fund-transportation vehicle came under the attack of armed robbers. The bandits carjacked the automobile, stealing over 8 million Argentine pesos.

They have reported that Antonela’s cousin was present in the vehicle during the time of the robbery. Luckily, there were no injuries during the incident, and the police have filed a case against the robbers. Several weeks before, the parents-in-law of Neymar found themselves in a messy situation with kidnappers.

According to the reports by Infobae, the robbers had a swift and violent chase, with the vehicle firing towards them before they broke into the motorcar.

Notably, one employee present during the incident addressed the media. According to the employee, he stated, “We were going from the supermarket to the bank to deposit the money. They broke our windows and took our bags. There was probably a car because I saw them get into one. At the moment they started everything, we only heard gunshots. When we got out, we saw the bullet impact.”

The employees then added that they do not use this method to transport money. But they did turn out to be unlucky on that day. The employee continued, “It is not something we always do. We leave the money at the bank and come back.”

The local authorities are currently investigating the case. The Radio Electric Command has stated that they are looking at all the CCTV footage from the area to pin down the looters.

Antonela Roccuzzo’s cousin avoids a narrow scare!

The police have lodged an official case following the theft. According to the reports, no one troubled in the incident sustained any injury. The transport vehicle had three people, including two employees and Antonela’s cousin.

According to the police, “The shot, apparently, was when the car tried to escape. They left the supermarket and went to a nearby bank. In Lavalle at 17:00, they were approached by a white car. They break the glass and take the backpacks with the high sum of money.”

It will satisfy Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo that there were no casualties during the incident. Hopefully, the concerned authorities would quickly resolve the issue and find the people responsible for the heinous act.
